June’s Sessions:

Repeatedly Difficult People – And how to deal with them with Rod Webb

Do you have colleagues or even friends who are just well, more difficult than others? Perhaps it’s a colleague who never checks their work properly, or a friend who always expects you to have the answers to their problems.

Have you ever wondered if you might be part of the problem?

A key principle of behavioural psychology is that behaviour that is in some way rewarded will be repeated, and sometimes we reward the wrong behaviours without really being aware of it.

In this session we’ll look at how our behaviours can encourage behaviours in others we find difficult, and we’ll explore how changing the response to difficult behaviour might facilitate a more positive outcome.

An experience with Colour Mirrors: Using the psychology of colour to explore your leadership strengths and potential. with Elaine Stephens

The Colour Mirrors system is an energy system and a tool for personal development. In this session, Elaine will introduce you to the system and will invite you to explore your leadership strengths and potential through the lens of colour. Using the psychology of colour and the colour mirrors system, this session will be experiential and will allow you to identify your own leadership colour and to explore what this means to you. We will explore the positive and negative leadership qualities associated with the colours and use this to explore your own strengths and areas for development. It promises to be a fun and colourful session!

Making Sense of the Menopause with Eleanor Haswell

This session will look at:

  1. Why it makes sense to support those experiencing menopause in the workplace.

  2. The terminology and stages of menopause, as well as the symptoms and how they can impact people in the workplace.

  3. Our responsibilities as line manager and employees.

  4. How we can develop a sensible, simple and effective menopause strategy.

  5. How we can support and signpost those who directly experience the menopause, empower menopause champions and empower and equip line managers in the workplace.

  6. How large and small organisations have normalised the menopause in the workplace.

If you’d like to host a one-hour session at a future Discovery Day, on a learning related topic you’re passionate about, I’d love to here from you. Please get in touch!
