About Me

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked in Learning and Development specialising in creating experiential and engaging training that other trainers can use. In 2003, my best friend Craig Worcester and I launched Trainers’ Library, which today gives trainers in more than 40 countries access to training materials designed by myself and others.

My passion is helping people and organisations unlock their potential by providing learning opportunities that are learner led and focused on Retention, Inspiration and Action.

Retention

Because nobody can implement what they don’t remember.

Inspiration

Because inspiration is the fuel that drives change.

Action

Because ultimately, all training is, or should be, about delivering change.

Whilst still actively involved in Trainers’ Library, this website enables me to offer virtual learning events for trainers focused on some of my favourite topics including creative training design and delivery, resilience and diversity awareness.

All of my events are delivered virtually, using Zoom, but don’t expect lots of PowerPoint, or a webinar! Instead, I’ll focus on engaging learners in innovative, experiential activities that give them the opportunity to find, and therefore own, great solutions to the workplace challenges they face.

Every event I facilitate comes with a money back guarantee. If you don’t think you’ve gained value from the training, I’ll give you your money back; it’s as simple as that!

Which means, quite literally, you’ve nothing to lose from attending one and finding out for yourself how engaging virtual learning can be.

The Non-Corporate Me:

Outside of work, I love spending time with my horses and dogs. One of my proudest achievements is training Merlin (pictured with me)with no previous experience, using natural horsemanship techniques. Merlin has never been ridden by anyone else, has never had a bit in his mouth and has never suffered a whip.

When time allows, I love writing short stories and would love to think they make people laugh, or think (and sometimes both). If you’d like to read some of my short stories and verse, you can do so by clicking here. And, as I’m learning and developing my writing skills, I’d really appreciate your comments.

My husband and I moved to rural France in 2020 to begin a new adventure - which is why my prices are in euros. This has necessitated another interest, learning French. It's probably the most frustrating, difficult and rewarding thing I’ve ever done.
